Valerie Sawai
I became and Enrolled Agent in 1993. I have a bachelor’s degree in physics. I went through the master’s program at ASU for TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language). As a TESL instructor, I was a volunteer teacher at ASU. Later I worked with Arizona State’s Refugee Link program for approximately a year.
My hobbies include ceramics, glass fusion, hiking, house plants, and gardening. I have been donating my time, materials, and creations, to Empty Bowls since 2010.
Professionally, I have been privileged to serve as a Board Member, Vic-President, and President for CACEA; a Board Member for AzSEA; and a Board Members for AFIT. I donated my time as a teacher for the CACEA’s SEE Preparation class for over seven years.
My practice focuses on individuals and corporations: tax preparation, planning, and representation.
True story. When I was in elementary school, during tax season, my mother managed one of the early H&R Block offices. After school, I would walk to her office and collate tax returns.
I believe in helping others help themselves.
